The importance of connectivity beyond technology.
Our value system at Sentinel applies to more than how we treat and serve our customers. It extends into how we behave and interact within the communities we operate in. As an organization, Sentinel is committed to sustainability and supports many worthwhile causes and charities. Our culture also encourages our employees to be involved in societal and environmental issues meaningful to them.
Environmental Stewardship and E-cycling
Electronic waste continues to grow at an exponential rate as laptops, tablets, phones, TVs, and other technology components often wind up in landfills. These items contain hazardous materials and heavy metals including lead, cadmium, and mercury that seep into the ground and threaten to poison our natural resources. Sentinel is committed to protecting the environment and ensuring that electronic items are disposed of in a secure and responsible manner. Our partnership with Goodwill gives customers the option of e-cycling their old hardware and other electronic waste. They are an R2-certified company that takes great care to protect data, worker and public health, and the environment by carefully refurbishing or recycling technology according to the highest safety standards. Please contact us for more information on our e-cycling and environmental initiatives.
